About Me:
Christopher Kennedy

Web Designer & ExpressionEngine Developer at The Shotwell Company

Lately, I seem to be less of a gun-for-hire in the web design community, and have been more and more a gunslinging consultant. That’s fine by me. As long as I get to wear the cowboy boots, I'm happy.

So you want to know a little more about me?

I’m a web designer in the San Francisco / East Bay area with a specialization in front end development using the ExpressionEngine Content Management System. I have in the past used other CMSes like WordPress and Joomla, but time and again, I think the best product for most of my jobs is EE.

I got into this industry about 10 years ago in order to help my mother’s flower and design shop, where I quickly learned I have a passion for all things code and semantic. After that, I enrolled in the Art Institute of Houston to get my degree in Multimedia and Web Design.

Since graduating I have worked for a wide array of companies, ranging from small mom n’ pop retailers to marketing for national companies, always providing solutions based on any number of problem sets.

The one thing I love more than anything else is being given a problem and then getting to figure out how to solve it. Let me know if you’d like me to solve your next project. Let’s make more awesome!!

I work at The Shotwell Company.
